13. "Lord, make me as holy as a saved sinner can be" (McCheyne). Whatever height we achieve in our quest to be like Jesus, always be praying for more.
14. "We are good-for-nothing slaves; we've only done our duty" (LK 17:10b). It's never about us; it's always about Him.
15. "If I were standing on a wall between hell and sin, I would leap into hell rather than sin" (Ambrose). Is it possible to love Jesus enough that a person would be willing to suffer everlasting damnation rather than hurt the Lord?
